This is significant because it is saying that Juliet has been listening to every word that Romeo is saying to her, and also remembering every moment as she is in love with someone that is her enemy. This also leads into the proposal from Paris from the start of the play. This is like a start to what she has to do in order to keep her and Romeo's wedding a secret and to not marry Paris.
